I've never had Bosnian food before. It was good!

Couldn't recommend enough. Everything is excellent. We will return often. Great staff.

All the food here is so great! And the owners/ wait staff was so helpful and nice. We got the cevipa and it was just as delicious as it was 3 yrs ago when we went here. Great atmosphere and they have a little booklet on the history of Bosnia. One page is in Bosnian and the other is in English. So fun and the historic and modern photos are really neat! And they have baklava!

We tried family style with a meat platter, cabbage rolls, and stuffed breads and couldn't have been happier. Everything was delicious. It felt like an old world family place with delicious hearty food. Definitely give them a try and being enough to sample the meat platter.

Some of the best food you will ever have. The owner makes the bread fresh every day (I know, I live across the street!! 😂). Really though, if you're in the area, stop by. It's really good food.

I constantly come by purchasing some food in this spot. I liked the speedy customer service and well prepared dishes. 5 stars.

So I was shopping across the river in Portland Oregon with a friend and we decide to try to find some place with Russian food so we came across the state line to Vancouver to try this place. Goodbye, it was worth the drive. We tried both of their specialties and we're impressed. I give the food a four out of five. The Baklava, however was not so good so I give that at 2. Is service I give a two also. They never came and checked on how we were doing with our meal and we had to get their attention for anything we wanted extra or more of. Because of that I have to give this place a 3 on average. You want to try good ethnic food come here.

We lived in Croatia for two years and miss the flavors from that part of the world. This restaurant is our GO TO place in the area and we are NEVER disappointed! My wife and I shared the large order of cevapi for lunch today and it was perfect. We took dessert home with us.... fabulous!

First time here we ordered the Sarma (cabbage rolls), the Peke U Lepini (steak sandwich) & some uncooked Cevapi (little seasoned beef logs). Sarma was awesome, almost like grandma used to make, & the Peke U Lepini was huge & steak was seasoned & cooked perfectly. Highly recommended both. waiting on cooking the Cevapi for dinner but going by the raw smell of them & taste of everything else I'm sure they will be awesome as well. Don't forget the soft fresh baked pita bread possibly best I've ever had.

This place is definitely on the pricey side. I grew up with Russian food so decided to try some Bosnian dishes. The raznjici reminded me of kebabs my grandfather made, really heavy with spices and flavorful beef. The burek was also good, it was like a spiral of beef baked inside of dough, like a variant of piroshki. The pljeskavica was nice and flavorful too and came with onions, sour cream, and some sort of red pepper sauce. The beef here tastes amazing and reminded me of home. Next time I will try cevapi.

This place has been open since I was a little kid. Always great customer service. the food is really amazing. Every time I come from Arizona I stop to eat there.5💫 experience. Everyone should try Bosnian food especially right here at Bosnia restaurant. Full bar and all beverages served.

Good simple homemade European food

Although nice quality it was fairly basic food like nice quality burgers and fish and chips.

Do you like the Balkan cuisine? If so, this is the right place to go! Pleskavitsa, cevapcici, razhnichi are magnificent. And Turkish coffee is served as expected. For sure I'll be back!

wouldn't eat this kind of food every day, as it's really meat heavy, but I love it every once in a while. It is definitely a place I'll go back to when I'm in a mood for a big meaty experience.Also, a note on the service: They were great. We were a big party of 8 or 10 people, and they kept us all happy. The waiter was friendly, and the experience was wonderful.

Went in here with my family and we were turned away. There was literally nobody in the restaurant they said they had too many online orders to serve us. I felt it was lie. Do they pick and choose who they serve? We had plenty of money to spend in there. We were really excited to try Bosnian food we haven't tried Bosnian food before. I also saw another review that was similar to mine. They were turned away too? Not once,not twice but all 3 times they tried to go there. I would love to actually try it and give a better review but I am afraid to go back and get turned away again that was humiliating and never had that happened to us. We ended up spending $150.00 at another restaurant. So if the owner reads this you really missed out. We would of spent good money there and we also tip well. Don't treat customers that way you had nobody in your restaurant you could of served us.

Going more often and like the place can bring the family and anjoy lovely foud.

The ground meat Cevapi was delicious. It was served with a red pepper,eggplant spread,sour cream and raw onions. The bread was sinful. So good. I am not sure they understand what a small portion is. It was quite large. The Sirnica cheese wrapped in dough and coiled up was good but would be better with the red pepper spread on it. I look forward to trying other dishes

This place is charming and very eastern European. My date and I loved the food... can't wait to go back and try other dishes. While the decor is casual and simple... the food, the music and the friendly staff more than make up for its humble face. Their signature dish, Cevapi (say-va-pay), has the most flavorful spices, but it's not spicy hot and the red bell pepper sauce that it's served with made me want to bottle it and take it home. They offer soft drinks, coffees, beer and wine. Try this place, you'll like it.

My daughter and I ate here while visiting in the area. They have good food and books about the area to look through.

We love going out. Yesterday we came to this excellent place which we didn’t know before. We spent a beautiful experience there with high-qulity dishes and a well-trained stuff and a talented chief cook. We added this place in our phone list and we will no doubt come back very soon. We highly recommend.

Do come here last if you are in the area for any reason. Don't make it your first stop, any attempt at adulting will be avoided after, due to gluttony.Clearly family operated, was told it would be at least 30 minutes due to the large party who had just ordered. The honesty had me from the get go.Had the meat sampler plate, order the bell pepper sauce and onions with it.

Treated me like a family

Visited here to sample a new cuisine and was not disappointed. We odered the medium cevapi - a savory spiced grilled ground beef sausage served on a wonderfully tender flatbread accompanied by sliced onions, sweet red pepper sauce (called ajvar) and sour cream.We were inexperienced with eating this dish, but our host assured us there was no wrong way. A forkful of each component made for a delicious bite. The bread was a highlight; tender, slightly sweet and fluffy on the inside with a delightfully thin crispy outer crust.The portion was generous and perfect for lunch. We're not local to Vancouver but would definitely return to sample their other offerings in the future!

Not being Bosnian, I definitely received some "what are you doing here?" vibe. Absent more experience with Bosnian cuisine, I've no way to judge the food against any standard. It's vaguely Mediterranean, and seems to involve some surprising bread. There were some interesting flavors, but everything seemed to lack intensity. Maybe they were dumbing it down for the gringo, or maybe spices are expensive, or maybe that's the cuisine. I have no idea. Worth a try if you're curious
